Build strength. Build confidence. Repeat.
A weekly conditioning class where dogs build strength, balance, and body confidence with a little brain work mixed in. Think of it as your dog’s gym membership, minus the treadmill selfies.
Never heard of “canine conditioning”? Think of it as a gym class for dogs. Instead of running on a treadmill, your dog works through simple equipment like a wobbly platform to stand on, low hurdles to step over, and a big inflatable “peanut” to balance on, which builds strength, balance, and body awareness, the same way a person might do a balance-ball workout or an obstacle course.
You don’t need any experience, and neither does your dog. Every class starts with a short warm-up, then the trainer shows everyone how that week’s equipment works and what it’s for. After that, you and your dog move through the different stations together at whatever pace feels right, and for anything that involves balance, there’s always a trainer nearby to help.
The equipment changes every week, so it never gets repetitive, but the overall structure stays the same each time so it’s always easy to know what to expect.
A Typical 60-Minute Class
4 Stations. Always Something New.
Every class rotates through the same 4 stations, so it’s always easy to follow — but the equipment inside each one changes week to week, so it never feels repetitive.
New every week: Equipment rotates on a 4-week cycle, so you can attend every session and never hit the identical setup twice.

Why Choose Ready, Pup, Go?
There are many dog fitness classes out there. Here’s what makes this one different.
Every exercise used in K9 Fit Club is force-free, science-backed, and chosen to build real strength, balance, and body awareness, not just tire your dog out for an hour. This isn’t about pushing dogs through reps. It’s conditioning built on trust, clear communication, and positive reinforcement. Your dog moves better, recovers better, and actually wants to work.
- You’ll leave every class knowing exactly what to practice and how: Michelle doesn’t just run you through the stations; she tells you what to watch for at home, so your dog keeps building strength between classes, too.
- You’ll never wonder why you’re doing what you’re doing: Every station has a reason. Michelle explains it! Handlers who understand the why get better results faster.
- Small class. Real attention: 6 dogs max. Michelle knows your dog’s name, their sticking points, and what they need!
- Fear Free Certified. PPG member. IAABC member: Michelle is held to an ethical standard and chooses to be, because it matters to her.
- No force. Ever: Your dog works here because they want to, and that’s exactly why it works.

Before You Book
Got questions? If this FAQ doesn’t answer them, feel free to email or call!
What if my dog has never done conditioning work before?
That’s most dogs! Every station has a beginner-friendly version, and the trainer-guided stations (Balance and Power) get hands-on support so newer dogs build confidence safely from week one.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just your dog, a leash, and some high-value treats. Everything else- wobble boards, cavalettis, peanuts, tug toys- is provided.
What if we miss a week?
No problem! This is a drop-in class, not a locked series. Single classes and passes never expire on a strict schedule, and memberships are month-to-month with no penalty for a missed week.
Can I switch between Wednesday and Thursday?
Yes. Single classes and class passes work for either session; come whichever day fits your week. Memberships also cover both sessions if you choose the 2x/week plan.
Is this class safe for older or less active dogs?
Absolutely, with a quick heads up beforehand. Let the trainer know about any mobility concerns, and the equipment will be scaled to your dog’s comfort level: low platforms, gentler balance work, and shorter reps where needed.
